358 Texas Special Thread Compound is a lead free alternative to API modified compounds. A high quality, high torque tubing and casing thread dope for use on all threaded connections. With its a high percentage of solids suspended in this compound, it can also be used as a high temperature thread sealant for tubing, casing and line pipe.
358 Texas Special is formulated with Chemola’s exclusive copper + zinc + solids additive package to insure a positive seal and ease of breakout. 358 Texas Special Thread Compound will prevent galling or damage to threads. Easy to apply to hot or cold, dry or wet threads.
