ThredOn 305 Rotary Gold is formulated with lithium-12-hydroxystearate grease to ensure long-term stability, down hole or on the shelf. It also contains rust and oxidation inhibitors plus other lubricant stabilizers to resist reaction with H2S or other down hole environments. Copper flakes and amorphous graphite are used as anti-galling additives. This provides an incredibly stable, high temperature thread compound that can be used in most drilling situations.
305 Rotary Gold is recommended for drill collars, rotary shoulder connections and high tensile strength tool joints where low coefficient of friction is desired.
305 Rotary Gold adheres to the performance requirements of API Bul. 5A2 for use as a thread sealant and lubricant on line pipe including tubing and casing.
