Weather-Coat is a protective coating for use in machine shops, pipe yards, offshore platforms or anywhere metal needs to be protected for short or long periods of time. It is a pliable, brushable coating that protects and preserves against rust and corrosion. It leaves a semi-fluid non-hardening protective coating that protects metal against rust and corrosion for extended periods in sun, rain, sand, salt-water and/or frigid temperatures. Excellent for freshly cut metals. Does not need to be removed before assembly of close tolerance parts. Will act as a lubricant during assembly.
Weather-Coat can be brushed on, thinned with mineral spirits and sprayed on or used for dip coating.
Weather-Coat is highly resistant to moisture. Adequately coated items may be left outdoors unprotected indefinitely.
Weather-Coat can be removed using common solvents such as diesel or paint thinner.
