Hanna-Seal # 55 – Thread Compound

Thread Compound. A semi-curing thread compound manufactured for applications where a 100% seal is essential. An excellent sealant for line pipe carrying liquids or gases. Usable on threaded PVC, iron, steel, copper or fiberglass.

* Soft-set so threads can be broken out without galling or seizing.
* Environmentally safe: contains no heavy metals.
* Brushable to 0°F.

Service Recommendations

Aqueous solutions including water, steam, ammonia, and alcohol. Dilute acids and caustics. Petroleum oils, vegetable oils, aliphatic hydrocarbon and solvents. CO2 , diesel, gasoline, mineral spirits, heating oils, LPG, natural gas, and other hydrocarbons.
